The voices of St. Paul's occupation

For more then month protesters occupy the St. Paul's Church Yard in London. Newspapers have something more to write about, journalist from television have one certain theme for each day, for city London there is one more highlight to see for tourists and tourist really love it, some people just have found great place to sleep for free in the heart of central London, but what is the most important - some people there are taking action. The civic participation is the only way how to applying pressure on a problems that politicians are unable to fix. Pointing the finger at problems or just talking about them in the pub is usless. What is the atmosphere of this place and what are the main voices? Lets have a quick look. Occupy!

The Notting Hill Carnival 2011 photo report

The roots of the Notting Hill Carnival are the Caribbean carnivals of the early 19th century which were all about celebrating the abolition of slavery and the slave trade.

In London originated in 1964 Starting its life as a local festival set up by the West Indian community of the Notting Hill area, it has now become a full-blooded Caribbean carnival which taking place every August Bank Holiday weekend in the streets of Notting Hill.
                                                             
                                                                                  


   More then 40 massive sound systems are playing everything from the sounds of the
  traditional steel drum bands To Reggae, Funk, Dub  to House..

       These boyz will be soon at MTV for sure!! Theirs dance perfomances were unbelievably,
 the best I have ever seen.. 

On Bank Holiday Monday, the main parade takes place and streets of Notting Hill becomes owercrowded by paarty-dancing people












One more thing that ought to be mentioned -There's nothing quite like the smell of Notting Hill Carnival. Hundreds of stalls at the streets of Notting Hill serving the best Caribbean specs like patties,curries, jerk chickens..









  .. and all of those smells are inwroughted by massive arome from thousands and thousands Marijuana 
    spliffs and beer&white rum "cloudlets" from everywhere. So with the upcoming evening people started to be completely crazy or a bit "tired".. ;)

After 19:00pm, the floats leave the streets in procession, and people carry continue partying at the many Notting Hill Carnival after parties.
