Hi there,
first of all I would like to describe myself a bit. I am a Slovak currently living in England - London. My occupation is Physiotherapist. As well I have Master degree in Social Work.
Few days ago I turned 30, so I thought more about what I am doing and mostly what I am would like to do the most. I really love to help people in different fields of Physiotherapy - whether after stroke, spinal cord injury, cancer problems or to children with multiple disabilities (in all mentioned fields I used to work for more than two years). Also like volunteer I really like to help people in need - whether homeless people or gypsies in my country, or people in developing countries like volunteer.
After my experiences I feel a bit frustrated. To be a part of some projects in developing countries for a while or help pacients like Physio is fine but..but there are millions of people in need, it is crazy to think about it - mostly about the children. I still think how to help more. It may sounds to you like a cliche, but I think it honestly.
In one year time I would like to go through the poorest regions in the poorest countries to understanding the roots of the problems straight from the local people. Hoping that sequently it helps me to found my own development projects or meaningfully participate on the ongoing ones.
WHAT AM I ASKING FOR?
Till that time I will be "on the road", I would like to improve my photography and writing skills. Why? Because I've realized how strong medium may the photography be..
So, I will be more than grateful for any advices and tips. In the following days I will start to upload my fresh photos here, hopefully with some short text as well. Annote what is good what is bad. What is great (I hope there will be something eventually) and what is terribleness. I will be really thankful for that.
If YOU will have some advices where to study or take some lectures of photography for free in London, or where and how to upgrade my camera for smart prices, I will be more than thankful as well.
And there is one more idea for the end - if YOU are living in New York or La Paz, Peking or Sydney, Luanda or Moscow and YOU are interested in something,anything from London - events, sightseeing, whatever..please tell me about it. If I will have some more time, I will try my best to make a photo report just for YOU ;) ..
